I probably didn't watch WarGames when it first hit theaters in 1983 — I was five years old then. But I caught it maybe a decade or so later, and it quickly became one of my favorite '80s movies. I still stop and watch it whenever it's on. Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy are fantastic, and there's just something about old-school computers, Cold War paranoia, and teenage hacking that makes the whole thing both nostalgic and gripping.
